REHABILITATIVE EXERCISE PROGRAMS

REHABILITATIVE EXERCISE PROGRAMS

A physical therapist works on very specific modalities where we integrate everything.  For example, we focus on the joint that needs rehabilitation, but we also work on how the rest of the body needs to work to protect and heal.  This focus on the whole body ensures balance of the individual components in order to minimize the risk of future injury.  This focuses on homeostasis - the whole body - compared to regular therapy that looks like individual joints, we look at the whole body to integrate all the systems.
